| Description: | Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART), serving the Cities of Tampa and Temple Terrace, and Hillsborough County, is accepting applications for Bus Mechanic.

| Duties: | Repair and Maintenance of Authority vehicles.
|
| Qualifications: | Minimum requirements for this position are: must be 18 years of age or older, must have a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must have basic theory and knowledge of transit coach electrical systems diagnosis and repair, air brake systems, heavy-duty steering and suspension systems, Cummins engine and Allison transmission operation. HART offers a comprehensive in-house training program and performance based promotional opportunities. Applicants must successfully pass a written competency test and have a compliment of hand tools. HART will train for person to obtain the CDL if necessary. Starting rate is $14.69 or $17.65 depending on qualifications through test scores and interviews.
